Retro Ruffles:

Are we really trying the whole ruffle thing?!? Call me crazy or not, but, I have never been a fan of this so called "fashion trend."Ruffles mean in some way or another that the designer had a brain fart and couldn't think of anything else to do. Or hiding a flaw. Its covering up something degusting. Think about it. Maybe I'm just a hater because I could never pull this trend off or maybe its just plain gross. It's just my point of view.

90s Neons:

You are SO in my chic divas, if you are working it out around town with the whole 90s neon look. I love how fashion always goes back to the whole vintage feel but makes it so up to date and so modern. Its about never looking back but making something that was so hot once, chic again. Ofcourse, pushing fashion forward. Donna Karen has some amazing neons in her line. So make sure you check her out.

Work that BIB:

It's obnoxious, It's ridiculous, and I LOVE IT. This is what makes me melt and freak out. Can't breathe...need gawdy. Live gawdy. haha. Everything gawdy. Just call me...Gawdy. Is this a bad thing? or am I just the shit?!?! Louis Vuitton had some amazing biblike necklaces on the runway. Oh how I bow down before the fashion gods. Thank you for making a fashion forward bib. I just died. Thank you. But... Its a great way to make a pair of jeans and a t-shirt to be so fashion forward.

Relax-fit pants:

YES! So yummy and chic. I love the whole, whats my body like...come and search it. BUT i will always be a skinny kind of guy. I need to get ballsy and get some relax-fit pants. It probably will never happen. I truly believe everyone should work this out. believe it or not!!!!

One thing I have noticed about the upcoming spring collections, are the oversized accessories. Which everyone knows Im a freak about. But not over do it, if you have too much stuff going on it can make you look like a total HOT ASS MESS and nobody wants that. So choose wisely and research whats hot. Glamour.com is a great way to keep up with the fashions extreme trends. Its one of my favorite sites. Oh so delicious.

This fall I beileve is about dressing up simple garments. You can never go wrong with the wide studded belt. It's a great way to glits up a little black dress or tunic. Also the T-shirt dress.

This IS obnoxious.

Already with three blogs to my name, the word " statement " has been filling my page. But is it ever good when the "statement making" is directed in a negitive fashion?

See, everyone in their right mind knows, of course, that I, PixXxiElle, am homosexual, which never defines who I am; it just happens to be what I am.

I've been working at this company for about two years now, and have been moving up the chain very quickly, if I may say so myself. I still remember the day of my interview, being all dolled up, hair perfectly in place (Fohawk), dressed to the tee, and of course, like always, tying in a fashion forward collecion piece. At the time it was probably an amazing obnoxious ring that screamed, "OMFG, THIS SHIT'S FIERCE, I KNOW!"

As the interview went on for abso forever, I finally got the answer I was looking for. "You got the job; you start tonight." Now keep in mind that I was myself, hair perfect and all that jazz.

I never knew that the day would come when the area supervisor would pull my manager aside, among all the other employees, to bluntly say, " WHAT IS THAT?" With his judgement pouring down on me as I walked by.

Not long after feeling so uncomfortable, I'm pulled into the office by my manager who seems very causious and not really knowing what to say.

The words finally came from her lips, "You are making a statement with your style and your hair," even down to the company's wardrobe restrictions. I say restrictions because the only way to make it fabulous, is to, well DUH, have amazing jewlery on.

Shocked more then anything, I turned bitchy, which is not out of the ordinary. I just couldn't wrap my head around what just came about. I was hired as myself, the true PixXxiElle. I did not hold back from anything. It wasn't a surprise.

   IT GETS BETTER... OH,WAIT FOR IT.

Then, my manager gets ballsy. She informs me that it is because I am gay, but there is nothing I can do about this, for I did not hear it from the mouth of my judgemental area supervisor.

The weeks go by and the "code book" is changed. They all of a sudden added "NO STATEMENT HAIR STYLES."  What is a no statement hair style anyways? This is becoming some bull! All the boys, yeah the "straight guys" have the same hair style, I've just mastered it. Everyone has processed hair. Why am I being singled out?

What I am trying to say is this, making statements may not always have people feeling it. It may, in some way, make them feel attacked, or nevertheless, uncomfortable.

I'm tired of this. Having sexual orientation, racism, and all that not be truly pushed, no one says anything. It's rarely ever out in the open.

I am a statement making glam divo. It's what I am, and I will NEVER change. It shouldn't matter what I am. So, this company is going down. The one thing you do not do is try the main thing I live my views around, MAKING STATEMENTS.

The answer is YES! It's never good when making a statement is directed in a negitive fashion. Do not let people single you out because you happen to have your own voice. Statements make you different.

So, my fashion forward glamnistas, it's time to SHUT IT DOWN. Let's do something about it. Push your style forward and never hold back.

Have you ever been so breath-taken over such amazing and insane work that it stops you in your tracks? To the point of freaking out and passing out? This is the feeling that overwhelmed my pounding fashion heart.  It's abso FABO.

Kenneth Jay Lane's work is so fresh, and a statment making piece. I am all about statement making pieces. He makes costume jewlery with such perfection it looks worth millions.

Kenneth Jay Lane puts most of this work out for the "average woman." But don't think for one second that the "oh so fabulous star lights" aren't making statements with his work of art jewlery, Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Hilary Duff are just a few to name drop.
